7 Spring Beauty Essentials

spring is finally here! I still can’t believe it and I really hope that it will stay. At least for a while. We all have been waiting for the first warm sun rays for so long. So to kick off the season I just put together 7 Beauty essentials.

1. Hyaluron acid in concentrated form as a moisturizing booster

Moisturizing is the basis for every beauty look. I just had my second last Microdermabrasion treatment and I am always suprised about the results of this noninvasive treatment. My skin feels like I was new born. I love it! I usually go to my beautician Julia who is also working at my favourite hairdressing salon “Aus der Wieschen” in Münster. Julia also recommended these hyaluron capsules from La Biosthetique. And it acutally works! My skin is soaked and bolstered.

2. Eye cream – bareMinerals

To take special care about the sensitive eye area I gladly take a refreshing and brightening eye cream. It reduces dark eye circles and it makes me look even more awake and fresh.

3. Sun protection – bareMinerals Mineral Shield 50SPF

Yes I can only repeat it again and again. Sun protection is the most important thing when it comes to skin care. All year long. And now in spring it even more important. There is nothing worse for our skin then sunlight. It is sad, but that’s the truth. So to avoid this I use a primer with integrated SPF from bareMinerals beside my daily “Nimue Sun protection.”

4. Concealer – YSL Touche Eclat Star Collection

I am a huge fan of the legendary concealer. Yes, it is expensive but it is worth every cent. It is a great concealer and highlighter, all in one. A perfect allrounder! The limited Star Edition is a must-have for every fan!

5. Lipglos – bareMinerals

I have told you before that I love the GenNudes lipsticks and lipglosses from bareMinerals. Beside the Tut lipstick the Forbidden lipgloss is my first choice this spring. I also like bright colours but sometimes I need it a little bit more natural. Therefore the nude colours are perfect. They only underline my natural lip colour.

6. Thermal water for fixing the make-up and refreshing – Avène

To fix the make-up and to make me look a little bit fresher I love to take soem shots of thermal water inbetween. I usually carry a little bottle within my handbag and I use it to reactivate my teint. There is nothing better!

7. Perfume – La vie est belle / Lancome

A great scent is so important. I like sensual, almond fragrances with a touch of warm vanilla. They get me in that spring mood immediately. One of my favourites is “La vie est belle” from Lancome. The name says it all. Life is beautiful, especially in spring.
