Lipstick game strong

Hi my loves,

I guess you already know that I am certainly one of the biggest lipstick junkies on earth. If there would be one single thing I could take with me on a lonely island, I would go for a red lipstick!

So many just don’t know that a touch of lipstick can change a complete look within seconds. When you are not really awake in the morning just take a red lipstick and your face will get a radiant glow immediately! You do not need anything more, just a hint of colour.

I use lipsticks since many many years now and my favourites are the red and pink tones. I prefer bluish tones because they are the best option for my teeth and skin colour. I usually avoid everythig with orange or coral.

So how do I start with my lip make-up?

Step 1 – Preparation

To prepare my lips for the upcoming colour I start with a soft peeling. Therefore I use the Dior Colour Graduation Lip Sugar Scrub. But you can also use other scrubs or just take your normal teeth brush and work it a little bit along your lips.

Step 2 – Concealer

Afterwards I take a bit of creamy concealer and apply it along my lip contours to guarantee that the following lip colour will stay several hours.

Step 3 – Lipliner

After the concealer I take the lipliner and thats a quite important step. Precision is aked! It might take a while to get the perfect result but after 10 tries you should be done 😉 I normally color the whole lips with the liner to intensify the upcoming lip colour and to guarantee a long long hold.

Step 4 + Step 5 Lipstick and Magic Fix

So the last and final steps includes applying the colour. First I just apply a first layer, then take a kleenex and clamp it between my lips to absorb too much colour. You probably know the problem with the teeth, right? Now I apply a second layer of colour and fix it with a pale lip fix like the Artdeco Magic Fix.

I can also recommend the lispticks from Astor, there is a glossy fix included and the colour lasts all day long. The only reason why I do not use it every day is because it dries out the lips. This is why I use a different lipstick every day. And isn’t it unbelievable how different lipstick colours can change your whole look?
