In love with Pastel

Hi my loves,

you might guess: I am head over in heels with any shades of pastel. I just can’t resist its magical attraction! It is the same every spring. I see pastel shades everywhere and for me as a fashionista it is really hard to say “no”, but I think you exactly know what I am talking about.

A special piece is this wonderful pastel pink culotte from COS. I kept an eye on it since weeks and finally catched it in the sale period. Unfortunately in the wrong size. But who cares? The to-die-for reflex was just bigger than the understanding, when it comes to fashion this happens more often. Of course we know how to deal with such circumstances so I just put a pretty belt around my hips to keep it tight! You cannot see it here because I am wearing some kind of layering. So this is just a background information.

These fabulous nude sunnies from Jimmy Choo are also new residents within my closet! Hello Spring! The sunnies are real style allrounder!

Sunnies are made for pimping every look! It is snowing? Well, don’t mind, just put on your sunnies and the right attitude and you will show off VIP-Appeal!

For the optimal layering feeling I added a simple white blouse and a cozy boxy sweater. The pretty shopper from Diane von Furstenberg is the perfect style partner here. It is the perfect office look for me! I can only recommend this shopper: it is not only totally chic it is also very spacious and practical! I know “practical” is a disgusting word for every fashionista but sometimes it just needs to be practical. At least just a little bit.

By the way you may noticed that I have redesigned my blog a bit. As already mentioned before I have changed my name from “Mo-off-duty” into “MOD – by Monique”. So MOD is just the shortcut for “Mo-off-duty”. Why the hell? Yes I had to think about it over and over again and came to the conclusion that MOD is just easier to pronounce for my readers, especially the German ones. Some of you had problems with the spelling especially concerning the domain name “mooffduty”. To cut a long story short: now I have a new logo and a new domain.

 I am so curious about your opinion now! Let me know!
