Cape Town│Black Skinny
Skinny Jeans meets Cape
Hi lovelies,
I hope you are doing well! Meanwhile we are just a little bit winter-weary, right? I really can’t stand those grey days anymore. It is grey when we get up in the morning and it is grey when we come home. Grey and grey. But I have to say that not every grey thing is a bad thing. Just take a look at this awesome cape. It is grey but it is also very beautiful, isn’t it?
So let’s stay positive. The poor grey is not responsible for everything and it faces tough times though, poor thing. Honestly I am not a big fan of capes. But as I held this beauty in my hands I can’t miss the opportunity to say that I was totally obsesses! Unfortunately a lot of capes usually loose their fit while wearing it and only look gets pouchy which is not advantageous at all. With this cape it is quite different.
The cape is 100% virgin wool and very heavy. But if you put it around in the right way it looks so classy and sophisticated.
The first time when you are unpacking this heavy cape you have to fight for some moments. After a while you know how to jump in.
I have combined the caope with a pair of simple, black skinny jeans, a striped cashmere shirt and a cropped turtleneck sweater. The sweater is something special. Not only the fit but above all every single jewelry stone. And what should never be missing? Right, my beloved black cap. In addition some red lipstick and my look is complete.
In my opinion this cape is a great styling partner and it’s a good replacement for coats.
Provided that there are actually no sub-zero temperatures. If so you can easily wear the cape ABOVE your coat.
By the way: when we were taking these pictures there still was some snow around. Thankfully it is now gone. Now it is only grey. But we have learned a lesson today that grey can be very attractive.
With this in mind have a great weekend,
