It is all about that layering

Hi my loves,

Oops, I did it again. I am actually talking about my new discovered fashion love: layering! There is nothing better in winter. And also in-between. Meanwhile I do not leave the house without any long blouse or shirt. Otherwise I feel like I am naked, something is missing. By the way if we are talking about winter: this is hopefully one of my last winter looks. Well, not really, there are still five on hold but then we are finally starting into new spring season!

When we were shooting this look I started with the shirt and then jumped into this large oversize sweater. My hubby’s reaction: “What? You are really wearing this sweater for the shooting? I thought this would be something for watching TV on a Sunday evening, a cozy thing?” Well, yes. I really had to smile because he is obviously right. Big sweaters are made for coziness so you only want to fall asleep as soon as you put them on. But there are also great for creating powerful layering looks of course. Again and again and agin.

Ok it is not the sexiest look ever but honestly I usually have other worries in winter, for example keeping my extremities warm. So it is not always only about good looking.

So there is nothing better than oversize sweaters, thick knit trousers, shirts and long blouses!

Here I have also combined one of my other winter highlights: velvet. Navy blue flared velvet pants. It is soo lovely! A perfect partner in style.

In addition I am wearing my navy blue granny pumps. I looove them so much! There is nothing more comfortable! Why the hell did they hide these shoes so long? If I had bought them earlier I could probably avoid too much pain!

It’s a mercy for plagued feet! They are not only super comfortable they are also good looking. I like the square form and the velvet material, they are a real eyecatcher. I have completed this look with a long, checked blouse, a navy blue cap from Isabel Marant and my new watch from Skagen.
