Big Volants & the Coat
How to style a striped coat and big volants
Hi my loves,
while writing these lines I actually noticed that I have combined two big trends in my today’s look. Striped and volants. This was not planned at all, it was some kind of coincidence. But it is definitely a look you can wear for a shopping break, a coffee date with friends or even for work.
If you ask me coats are always a good investment. Even if it does not have to be an investment for real. Of course you should own at least 1-2 neutral wool coats in good quality when you reach your 30ies. But when it comes to seasonal trends I would suggest to buy them at any High-Street store. They are great affordable alternatives like my striped coat from Mango.
Coats are the perfect styling partners, I did not get sick of mention it again and again. If you choose a coat your look will certainly turn into something elegant. There is nothing more to do. They styling around is quite easy. Just take the coat as the Key-Item and choose neutral or matching pieces for the rest. This is what I did. I took the coat and styled it with a simple black shirts and some super cool trackpants with big volants from Kenzo. I really love volants, simple but playful details.
And of course I also can’t ignore the big Vetements Hype, so I choosed to wear my black mules with a pair white tennis socks from Reebok x Vetements. What do you think about my look? Do you like it?
Have a great weekend,
xoxo
Monique
