Transition w/ a yellow pop of colour

Transition time is coming

*Advertorial/Anzeige

Hi my loves,

I hope you had a wonderful week! Indeed we had a lot of luck because the weather finally gave us some beautiful late summer days. The German summer is always not worth a mention so I am honestly totally excited to go for our trips the upcoming weeks. But I am also sure that there will be a golden fall waiting for all of us. If we believe it or not, summer is almost over and fall is coming with big steps ahead. This certainly means: it is time for transition fashion!

Transition actually means the season changing. In Germany there is one old word for it called “Übergangszeit”. Therefore we all need some “Übergangsjacken”. Sounds not so sexy, right? This is why I stick to transition. It is even cooler and means the same. We all know the times when our mums tried to get us into some ugly transition jackets. Thanks god, this time is over. We are not only able to choose what we are wearing on our own now, we are even more engaged to plan our whole life on our own 😉

The whole art lies in wearing not too cold but also not too warm clothes at this time of the year. Especially when it is very cold in the morning but getting warmer during the day. It is not easy but with a few tricks we will meet the challenge!

I am personally a big fan of blouses and shirts. For this reason I think blouses are truly made for Transition time. I was wearing this babyblue blouse from Gerry Weber over and over again the last weeks. It is often about the little details and in this case I felt in love with the cute Peter Pan collar. This makes it so special. Beyond that I decided to style the blouse with a clean syling partner like the white pants from Gerry Weber as well. It is so comfy and versatile, love to wear it, so it is definitely no wonder that it is one of my fave pieces. By the way you can see a few new pieces from the new Gerry Weber Fall/Winter collection here.

Avoiding looking like a bank clerk I went for my beloved yellow Balenciaga clutch and a single earring as an eyecatcher. With that I am completely prepared for Transition time. And if I need to leave the house early in the morning I just grab a light coat.

How do you prepare for the new season? What is your favourite piece at the moment? Let me know and have a great Sunday evening lovelies,

Monique xx
