Ruffle Mania with a pair of Palazzo Pants
Hi my loves,
before we are leaving for some travels I wanted to show you this high summer look I have stored till the end. Last week I have already showed you what to wear for transition time. And now it just seems like we are straight in the middle of it. It is almost the middle of September but honestly feels like the beginning of October. From 30 degrees to 10 within a few days. That’s quite heavy but as we are not able to change the weather at all the only thing we could do now is to throw ourselves back to warmer days. And what is better than a ruffle top?
Of course I will also wear them in fall but in a longer more suitable version. Ruffle tops were the most worn things in summer I think. You just needed to take a look at a lot of Instagram accounts and you would have seen them everywhere. So it is no wonder that I also bought some. There is only one tricky thing: Sometimes there are not easy to wear at all but if you stick to some simple rules there should not go anything wrong:
The ruffle top should be the only highlight of your look what leads me directly to point 2
It doesn’t allow too much jewelry, otherwise it can be overloaded
Try to keep your look in one colour family, this looks harmoniously and elegant
Ruffles produce volume so bear in mind to only emphasize the parts of your body you want to emphasize
I choosed to go for a blue ruffle top in combination with one pair of my most loved palazzo pants. I will never get tired to repeat that these kind of pants are my favorites forever. They extend your silhouette and your legs to heaven, believe me. Is there anything better?
What was your favorite summer piece? And how do yo style your ruffle?
Have a great Sunday evening,
