The little black-red – Rouge Noir

you can safely say that “Rouge Noir” is the big beauty seller from Chanel. There is definitely no other nail polish which is sold that often. The hype is unbroken. You can see the famous lipstick or nail polish on so many Instagram pictures from Fashionistas all over the world.

But why is there a big hype about “Rouge Noir No. 18“? So what’s behind the hype? Is it really as good as mentioned everywhere? Well I want to take a deeper look at it.

I have just ordered the nail polish and will test it in the following days. But it is really not so easy to get the lipstick. It is sold out almost everywhere! But you know I am always searching hours for hours to find the latest IT-Pieces so I finally also found a website which offers the “Rouge Noir” lipstick. I ordered it immediately! But guess what? Delivery time is probably by the end of January. Well what should I say? It is really that popular.

Let’s get behind the big secret of the legendary “Rouge Noir” colour. Of course there is always something exclusive when it is coming up to Chanel. I am also a huge fan of the beauty products. Ok not only the beauty products. The colour “102 Palpitante” is my favourite lipstick since years now. It is the perfect red shade for me. “Rouge Noir” is a little bit different and specifically. A deep red turning into a deep black.

Perfectly made-up lips are essential for the look! Any goofs are forbidden, precision is asked to paint perfect Rouge Noir lips.

Many designers showed deeply red painted lips on the runway for Fall/Winter 2015&2016 shows. Gothic and victorian fashion is also a big thing this year. This is one of the reasons why we see this colour so often. Almost every fashion magazine reported about the big trend this season.

But to be more precise: it is not only a trend. The hype has its beginning in the early 90ies. This colour is not only exisiting since this year. Oh hell, no. Nobody less then US-actress Uma Thurman was responsible for making the nail polish so famous. “Rouge Noir” had its first appearance in the cult film “Pulp Fiction”. The nail colour was sold out worldwide the first time in 1994.

Conclusion: “Rouge Noir” is much more than a fleeting fashion phenomenon which is difficult to say about Chanel anyway. In fact “Rouge Noir” is a synonym for our untamed and unadjusted wild side! There were some other supercool nail polishes such like “505 Particulière” or “707 Méditerrané” last summer but none of them will ever come close to”Rouge Noir”!

Furthermore the colour is perfect tp wear, a wonderful shade for winter and suitable to almost everything! If you wear the lipstick as the only highlight in a nude face or the nail polish as an eyecatcher to monochrome looks.
