Where to stay in Düsseldorf – Breidenbacher Hof / A Capella Hotel
Hi my loves,
I already told you that I have spend a few days in Düsseldorf sone weeks ago. Düsseldorf is a lovely city and my heart will always belong to as I am a real Westphalian girl. Whenever I step into the famous “Königsallee” my heart starts beating again.
I well remember those conversations between my mum, grandma and all the aunties talking so respectfully about the most expensive street in Germany. So when they first took me with them the magic happened: I was obsessed since minute one. This magic was meant to stay forever. So I was extremely excited when were invited to stay at one of the oldest and most legendary luxury hotel in Düsseldorf, directly located on the famous “Kö”.
I actually felt like Julia Roberts in “Pretty Woman” from minute one. There was a very warm welcome and the service is just excellent! The hotel “Breidenbacher Hof” lives up to its name: full luxury with service from A to Z. No matter what you need, they will care for you! As we arrived at the hotel we didn’t know where to park our car. But we should’nt car about things liek that, therefore they have the excellent parking service, so all you have to do is : arrive. Everything else will be done!
There is no better beginning for a short city trip, right? After arriving we had our first meeting with Thomas Rath, a German designer who designed a whole uniform collection for the hotel employees. After some walkt with Thomas (such a warm-hearted and friendly person) we checked in to get a little fresh-up fror the next meetings and events.
The room was such a dream! If we not had to return I would hae stayed some while, maybe forever! The view was just amazing, there was a big US flag right in front and if theere weren’t the German letters “Hallo Herbst” you might thought you were straightly somewhere in Manhatan. After a little refresh the hotel surprised us with a little delicacy, so yummy!
Nevertheless we needed to leave the hotel for some meetings and events. After arriving late evening we went to the lounge bar to have some delicious driks. The whole atmosphere in the hotel is very noble, chic and cozy at the same time. We felt so comfortable during our whole stay!
As we went to bed late night we felt asleep within seconds the big kingsize bed was just perfect. The next morning there was big and super delicious breakfast waiting for us. Freshly prepared we needed to leave this place even though I would have stayed forever!
But please take a look at the pictures below to get a deeper impression!
There is one thing I know for sure: this is not my last visit at the Breidenbacher Hof!
xoxo
