# Beauty – Pt. 5 My daily cleansing routine #

Hi my loves,

today I would like to continue with my beauty serial. So in my last beauty post I already mentioned that I want to show you my daily cleansing routine. Now here it is! Let’s make our skin ready for spring, waking up like “Sleeping Beauty” after winter.

You all might know that cleaning is one of the most important things to keep your skin fresh and young. There is nothing worse than go to bed after a great party without taking the make-up off. It can happen sometimes when you are younger but it really should not be a routine. It damages your skin and this is something we really do not want.

So I start every morning and evening with cleaning my face. First of all I take off my eye make-up (in the evening of course) with a simple eye remover. I usually take the eye make-up remover pads from Artdeco.

Then I take the “Bioderma Sébium H2O” to rip off the first shift of grime. This cleaning lotion is very effective and sensitive at the same time. The micelles, tiny little bubbles attract the grime and put if off gently. It is the best way to clean your skin softly. There are so many products available on the market right now. I like the Bioderma products.

So in a second step I take my beloved Clinique Cleansing Brush”. This is the best beauty investment I ever did, really! The big hype is ongoing and there are so many people who use these brushes and they are all happy with them. The most famous brushes are the ones from Clarisonic, Oprah Winfrey actually created the hype in 2007 as she mentioned her Clarisonic brush in TV.  Now there are so many models, you have to choose the right one for you. So I have chosen the Clinique brush as I am a Clinique addicted 🙂

After putting the cleansing lotion on my face I start to clean my face with the brush. I capture every part of my face with circular movements. I begin with the forehead, remain there for 20 seconds than turn over to nose and chin. Hold it for further 20 seconds. So finally I clean my cheeks, 10 seconds on every site. That’s all. The brush will stop automatically. Afterwards I rinse it off with lukewarm water. Did you know that you can also use the brush when you are under the shower? Yes, really. It is water-resistent. It is a great way to start the day. The brush really helped me with my blemishes. My skin is getting better, my pores are refined and my teint is fresher.

The final step is the facial toner from “Dr. Hauschka”.  I use it with cotton pad. This tonic revitalizes the skin, mobilizes the inherent strengths and the moisture process of the skin. This keeps the natural balance. The teint is lively and bright. Perfcet! Now I can use my day or night cream depending on the time of the day.

This is only my daily routine but I also use a special scrub 1-2 times a week depending on the condition of my skin. It is not a secret that scrubs gently exfoliating the skin, removing surface impurities and visibly refining its texture and tone, giving your body a silken sheen. I love it and it is necessary for my skin. Here I also use Clinique products. Here it is “Clinique 7 day scrub cream”

That’s all. This is my cleansing routine. How about you? Which products do you use? Do you have any other tips to reduce impurities?

Have a great start into this new week!

xoxo

Monique
