Pls let me introduce: My Christmas look
Hi my loves,
the heading is just saying all. Today it is all about glitter and sparkle and I show you my Christmas look. I guess there are a lot of women out there who experience the same. Seeking for the perfect Christmas dress day by day, hours per hours. It is not quite easy. We want to be the star inbetween all our relatives at Christmas Eve, right? I have been searching for the right pieces a long time. Well, I have nothing to wear in my wardrobe…;)
After days of hair-pulling I finally discovered the wonderful and glittering maxi skirt. It was love at first sight! How gorgeous is this skirt? Glitter and maxi length? Pretty cool. And this dreampiece is affordable by the way so I was relaly lucky! But how do I combine this skirt?
With a glittering sweater? With a blouse? It all seems too much. So I continued searching. Solutions are always around the corner when you are not expecting them anymore. The same here. It was pure coincidence. I was looking for a cozy cashmere sweater and finally landed at Street One.
There it was: the sweater of my dreams. Casual oversized and soft grey. Perfect! So I immediately went to the shopping checkout.
In winter I usually order my sweaters 1-2 sizes larger so they are a little bit longer and cozier.
I was so happy when my order arrived at home. The sweater looks just amazing and it is so super cozy and soft. Heaven! And the best: it was made for my glitter maxi skirt. A great break in style. Oversize sweater meets festive glitter skirt! Of course I had to wear this outfit before the big event is coming up next Thursday. I have combined a little “Choupette” clutch from Karl Lagerfeld and a pair of simple black heels. On Christmas I will wear my hair pinned up. Honestly I do not often wear pinned-up hairdos because I am so untalented when it comes up to hairstyling. I have tried it several times but it never ever worked. I always looked like a old srubbing brush. But we are not made for bein talented in everything, right?

Oh ja, der Rock von Zara hat es mir auch vor ein paar Monaten angetan, vor allem in der Kombination mit dem Kaschmirpulli sieht er klasse aus! Du hast mit deinem Look ne klasse Balance hinbekommen, die nicht so einfach ist, wenn es um festliche Looks geht. Oft wirken diese too much und man fragt sich am Ende, ob die Looks auch wirklich tragbar sind – You know? Aber deinen Look finde ich echt gut gestyled und könnte mir vorstellen ihn auch so mit meiner Familie zu tragen.
Mir gefallen auch die langen Perlenohrringe – die stehen dir ausgesprochen gut, sowie der rote Lippenstift 🙂

Du triffst es auf den Punkt liebe Maria! Vielen, vielen Dank 🙂 Es ist nicht einfach die Balance hinzukriegen, oft neigen wir dazu den Look zu überladen. Wenn wir die einzelnen Elemente aber gezielt einsetzen und hier und da auf zusätzliches Bling Bling verzichten, dann klappt es!

Du siehst mal wieder ganz bezaubernd aus! Ich glaube wirklich nicht, dass jede Frau so einen Rock tragen kann – ich würde zum Beispiel aussehen wie eine wandelnde Tonne! Aber du siehst so elegant und toll darin aus!
