When stripes go to work

Hi my loves,

well the headline just says everything. Today I am wearing a classic office look, right? There is absolutely nothing wrong with this outfit. You can easily wear it for a meeting with your boss or at least a lunch with your colleagues. This is a safe bank.

However I honestly felt kind of bourgeois as we took these pictures. It is really a look bloggers are wearing? Well certainly not but the oversize white blue shirt, the long sleeves and the key chain turn the whole thing round. Lucky girl ! 🙂

But this doesn’t mean that I am always looking like this. I do not have to stick to any dress codes. It just depends on the job situation. Well you certainly know it best otherwise I could hardly show you any other looks.

I catched the shirt from Closed during the winter sale and I am really hapy with it. It is a piece you can always wear no matter what season we currently have. This is something important to me: versatility! Earlier I just bought trendy things and don’t care about the quality or suitability at all. But things are changing, right? So now I do not invest in too many trend pieces anymore. It makes no sense because they are so often bad quality and if you want to wear them they are already last season.

Have I ever mentioned that I am almost blind? Well yes. I need my glasses for work or even working in front of the computer. I discovered these these glasses from Dolce & Gabbana some years ago and I am very satisfied. It is perfect for my face and I really had to try on several models to find the right one for me. Do you also wear glasses or lenses?

I can’t handle lenses. When I was a teenager I tried it with coloured lenses but I suffered a lot! It was just scratching all the time. But hey you do a lot to impress your heartthrob. Do you also say hearthrob nowerdays?

Anyway I combined the striped blouse with a classic some kind of flared black pants, simple black heels and a cute little, white bucket bag from Michael Kors.To break it up I just added the little “Love” key chain from Stella McCartney.
