Acne Love

Hi my loves,

Acne Studios is definitely one of my fave brands since years now. I love the minimalistic designs of the Swedish. Unfortunately the items are often really, really expensive. But I could catch some pieces during the sale. And what did I bought?

Amongst other things this great black Canada scarf. Beside the legendary Pistol Boots one of their bestsellers. At the moment it is sold out in every luxury online shop but you can also order it at the official Acne shop here.

Yes, maybe not something special, just a black scarf. BUT it is from Acne. Men may not understand this issue. For them a black scarf is a black scarf. They would never ever spend so much money for it. As my hubby heard of the name “Acne” the first time he just thought inevitably about the bad skin disease. Well, they are just men 😉 For us it is something quite different.

The scarf is sooo beautiful, I loooove the oversize length, it is just great to combine with almost everything in your wardrobe. And it keeps me warm, of course, certainly the most important thing these days. By the way this is my third layering look now. Yes I really have to admit that I am a layering lover now. I love to layer and layer. The layering fever has come over me!

Playing with different silhouettes is so much fun!

This time I have combined this pastel pink coat (my second favourite piece at the moment), grey cropped pants, the checked black shirt and a simple black sweater. That’s it. So easy but effective! The egg shape pastel coat is perfect for this layering look. It just has the perfect fit. My beloved cap is also not missing! It is something I live with every day, I nearly never go out the house without my cap.

Now I am curious about your opinion! What do you think about my outfit? Do you also liek Acne Studios?

And if someone recognized: I have changed my header from “Mo-off-duty” into “MOD – by Monique” for some branding reasons. It is much easier and the domain will be changed soon.
