Trendreport: Coats

Investment: Statement Coats

If we take it right coats are not a trend thing at all. Coats are made for staying longer than just one season. We wear coats every year when it is getting colder outside so it is most important to find the right one. We will definitely stick to it, maybe a lifetime.

For this reason it is worth it to invest in a really high-quality and expensive coat! Believe me, this investment will pay off very quickly. When you finally found THE one classic coat you will probably wear it season for season. It is a different thing with trend coats, they are only made for one season and you get easily fed up with them.

So it is not really important which kind of coat you choose, the more important thing is that the style and cut is made for you. Generally I would suggest to buy classic ones like camel, black or navy coats.
I am totally in love with cashmere coats but they are definitely costly. If you have saved enough money or just want to treat yourself go for some cashmere. Otherwise I would say that you should look for wool coats like Alpaka or Mohair. Both is keeping you warm during the cold season!

If you are searching for more trendy pieces like Bouclé, Heringbone, Check, Glencheck, Stripes or Flowers I would go for cheaper versions. You can find them in almost every High-Street Stores like Zara, Asos, Mango oder Topshop. If you are not sure if you would wear one of these coats next year it is ok to not spend so much money.
But no matter which coat is the one of your choice, I am sure that you will look damn hot ♥♥
With this in mind,

xoxo
Monique

Was für super Inspirationsbilder!
