The 90ies Slipdress is back

Hi my loves,

another trend from the 90ies, so called slipdresses. Formerly known within the grunge scene with Kate Moss as a leader those slipdresses are getting to be the most hyped pieces this summer season. Thanks to Hedi Slimane. He already showed this trend on the runway for his spring/summer show.

Well I am also in love with all kind of lingerie dresses and I need to get myself some for each occasion. One for the office…well ok this one is not so easy at all. It is quite difficult to make a good and of course serious figure at 8:00 am in the morning when you meet your colleagues in the coffee kitchen, They either think you overslept or you might want to seduce your new colleague. Whatever…not so easy, if you have any tips how to style them pefectly for the office, just let me know!

But you can wear this dress in your freetime however you want. Wear it solo without any other garments, this is just perfect for a hot summer night! A very modern way is the combination with a simple white tee, I personally prefer this version for any occasion, it doesn’t make you feel too naked!!

Another styling variation is to combine the slipdress with a white off-shoulder blouse. Today I am wearing a normal white blouse with long and wide sleeves and I just transformed it into a off-shoulder top. In combination with Cropped Jeans from Levi’s and Cowboy Mules the whole look gets a cool twist. I recently talked about Cropped Jeans and I truly love the fringed seam here.
